Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Soft skills bagi Siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 01 Purbalingga Menuju Dunia Kerja

Abstract

The "Socialization and Soft Skills Training for Vocational High School Students Towards the World of Work" program aims to improve the readiness of vocational high school students to face the world of work through the development of important non-technical skills, such as communication, teamwork, time management, and problem solving. This activity was carried out at SMK Muhammadiyah 01 Purbalingga, class XII of the Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) expertise program, totaling 66 students. The program implementation method involved interactive activities such as group discussions, role-playing, and simulations, as well as involving resource persons to provide practical insights. The program evaluation showed a significant increase in student understanding and skills, as reflected in the results of the pre-test and post-test. Feedback from participants and the school also indicated that the program was successful in increasing student confidence and better preparing them to enter the world of work. This program is expected to be a model for the integration of soft skills training into the vocational education curriculum in the future.
