Publication Ethics

Publishing a peer-reviewed manuscript in the TarbiyahMU is an important foundation for building a consistent and respected knowledge network. The quality of the author's work and the institutions that support it are directly reflected in this. Scientific methods are supported and illustrated by peer-reviewed manuscripts. Peer-reviewed studies support and represent the scientific method. Therefore, it is important to agree on the standards of ethical behavior expected of all parties involved in publishing: authors, journal editors, reviewers, publishers, and the public.

As the publisher of the TarbiyahMU, We carries out its obligation to oversee all stages of publication very seriously and is aware of its ethical and other responsibilities. We strive to ensure that advertising, reprints and other commercial revenues do not influence or influence our editorial decisions. In addition, We and the Editorial Board will help contact other journals and publishers if necessary.

Publication Decisions

The Editorial Officer of the TarbiyahMU is responsible for deciding which manuscripts are submitted to the journal for publication. The basis for such decisions should always be a study of the problem and an examination of its significance to researchers and readers. Editors may comply with applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism in accordance with the journal's editorial board guidelines.

Fair Play

Editors always evaluate manuscripts based on their intellectual content, without regard to the author's race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.

Confidentiality

Editors and editorial staff may not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial consultants, and, if applicable, the editor.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

Unpublished content disclosed in a submitted manuscript may not be used for the editor's own research without written permission from the author.

Duties of Editor in Chief:

Responsible for editing the contents of publications according to the focus and scope of the TarbiyahMU Officer.
Responsible for the quality and quantity of publications of the Officer TarbiyahMU.
Responsible for the work mechanisms and activities of the Editorial Team and the Editorial Team below.
Determine whether the article is suitable for publication.
Coordinate with other departments such as the Chancellor and Head of the Research and Community Service Institute at Universitas Perwira Purbalingga to create synergy in implementing journal governance at STITMUHBA.
Make a content plan for each publication.
Responsible for the work mechanism of the Editorial Team within STITMUHBA
Prioritize freedom of opinion objectively.
Maintain the integrity of the author's academic track record.
Actively solicit opinions from authors, readers, Bestari partners and members of the editorial board to improve the quality of publications.
The Editor-in-Chief has the right to deactivate Members of the Editorial Board/Editor or appoint and appoint new personnel.

Duties of Editorial Board Members / Editors:

Responsible for the style and form of the article, as well as the content and all statements in the article is the responsibility of the Author.
Encourage a review if there are findings.
Support initiatives aimed at minimizing errors in research and publication by requiring authors to attach an ethical clearance form
Encourage the author to improve the article until it is worthy of publication.
Coordinate the manuscript process from setting (lay out) to printing and online publication.
Check the manuscript, revise it and complete it by writing good and correct Indonesian.
Standardize the writing style according to the template so that it is uniform
Check the manuscript word by word, use of periods, commas, exclamation marks, colons.
Write the page number, edition name, published volume number, publication date for each edition.
Meet the needs of readers and writers.
Continuously improve the quality of publications.
Implement a process to ensure the quality of published articles.
Support initiatives to raise awareness among researchers about publication ethics.

Duties of Editor Manager

Ensure that scientific journal subscriptions remain active.
Maintain a customer database that includes information such as contacts, payment details and subscription history, management skills, communication, understanding of the scientific publishing process, and the ability to work closely with the Editorial Team and Bestari Partners (Reviewers)
Ensure that the layout and design of the journal comply with the standards set by Journal and journal pages accurately, including the placement of images, tables, and text.
Ensure consistency in the use of predetermined fonts and formatting styles.
Evaluate and correct grammar, spelling, punctuation and syntax errors in published articles.
Check references, citations, and bibliography for accuracy and consistency.
Check consistency in the use of scientific and technical terms.
Bring the article manuscript that has been approved by the Editor-in-Chief/Editor in Chief to the printer for printing if necessary.
Assist in the process of updating electronic data to the e-Journal
Distribute the required data and articles to Users/Authors.
Responsible for distribution as a commercial part including circulation/distribution of advertising and promotions

Duties of Reviewer

Receive an assignment from the Editorial Board/Editor to revise the article and submit the revision to the Editorial Board/Editor as part of determining the suitability of an article for publication.
It is prohibited to edit articles related to it, either directly or indirectly.
Maintain the author's confidentiality by not sharing the results of corrections, suggestions and recommendations for the revised manuscript.
Encourage the writer to improve the manuscript.
Revise articles that have been corrected according to predetermined standards.
Immediately revise the manuscript according to the selingkung style and based on scientific principles.

Duties of Writer's

Reporting standards

Authors of original research reports must present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data must be presented accurately in the paper. A paper should contain enough detail and references to allow others to replicate the work. False or intentionally inaccurate statements are unethical and unacceptable behavior.

Data Access and Retention

Authors are requested to provide raw data in connection with the paper for editorial review, and should be prepared to provide public access to such data (consistent with the ALPSP-STM Statement on Data and Databases), if possible, and in any event should be prepared to preserve the data for a reasonable period of time after publication.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that they have written an entirely original work, and that if the author has used the work and/or words of others that the work has been appropriately cited or cited.

Multiple, Excessive, or Simultaneous Publication

In general, an author may not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is unethical and unacceptable publishing behavior.

Source Acknowledgment

Proper recognition of the work of others should always be given. Authors should cite publications that were influential in determining the nature of the work reported.

Paper Writing

Authorship should be limited to those who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, conduct, or interpretation of the research being reported. All parties who have made significant contributions must be listed as co-authors. If others have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. The corresponding author must ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors are included in the paper and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and approved its submission for publication.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

All authors must disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project must be disclosed.

Fundamental Errors in Published Work

When an author discovers significant errors or inaccuracies in his or her published work, the author has an obligation to immediately notify the journal editor or publisher and work with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
